What are the system requirements for Flight Reader Desktop?

You need Windows 10 or later. Google Earth is needed to view generated KML files. There is no native Mac version; Flight Reader Web lets you explore logs in a web browser instead.

Which flight logs can I open?

Flight Reader Desktop supports DJI TXT flight logs and selected formats from applications used with DJI drones. DAT logs are not supported. See the purchase page FAQ for the supported formats.

Are my flight logs uploaded to the Internet?

No. Flight Reader Desktop processes and stores flight logs locally on your Windows computer without uploading the logs for analysis.

Does Flight Reader Desktop need Internet access?

Yes. Internet access is required for license verification, some decryption keys, elevation and location services, Google Maps, and optional DJI Cloud synchronization. Local log processing does not mean every feature works without an Internet connection.

Which license should I choose?

Choose a Personal or Business license based on your use and processing needs. Aircraft and annual flight-log limits vary by license. Compare Desktop licenses before purchasing.

Is a subscription required to keep using Desktop?

No. You can continue using your licensed version without an ongoing subscription. A new license includes one year of software updates. Renewing updates is optional and gives you access to newer releases.

Can I use my license on more than one computer?

A Personal license can be used by the same person on up to three computers at the same time. A Business license can be used on one computer at a time. Licenses can be transferred after being unlocked from the previous computer.

How do I download Flight Reader or get help?

Use the download page to get the installer. After purchase, your license key and download link are emailed to you. Contact [email protected] if you need help installing the app or using your license.
